The suction hoses pre-selected here are permanently antistatic (surface resistance RO < 10⁹Ω) so that the risk of electrostatic charging can be excluded from the outset.
The hoses are therefore very well suited for the passage of solids and gaseous media, which cause abrasion and static charge.
We recommend the use of antistatic hoses, especially in potentially explosive atmospheres.

When are antistatic hoses needed?
When solids and liquids are transported through chargeable, non-antistatic suction hoses, electrostatic charging occurs. This is caused both by the natural friction of the material being conveyed and by contact with the inner wall of the hose. This poses a very high potential hazard, especially in potentially explosive environments and when transporting flammable bulk materials.
